Our mission is to promote excellence in criminal justice higher education.
We are dedicated to the following goals and principals:

- To monitor and review state and national public policy affecting our criminal justice programs.
- To maintain currency in criminal justice trends; both nationally and globally.
A Message From Our President
Welcome to Saratoga Springs and the 2024 CJEANYS conference. It is my honor and great pleasure to welcome you all to the Criminal Justice Educators Association of New York State. This year’s conference reflects our ongoing commitment to advancing the field of criminal justice and addressing the pressing issues that impact our profession. We are honored to have such a diverse group of professionals, scholars, and practitioners gathered here. Your dedication and expertise are the driving forces behind the progress we continue to make in our field. Over the next few days, we will engage in meaningful discussions, share innovative research, and explore new strategies to enhance our criminal justice system. I would like to extend my gratitude to our keynote speaker, guest speakers, and panelists for their invaluable contributions. Your support and participation are crucial to the success of this conference. As we embark on this journey together, let us remain committed to our shared goal of promoting justice, equity, and integrity within our communities. I encourage you all to take full advantage of the opportunities to network, collaborate, and learn from one another. We have our long-time board member and 1st Vice President, who moved to Florida after his retirement. Additionally, Second Vice President John Millet is stepping down from the executive board after serving for many years, both as a board member and region delegate. We thank them both for their dedication. I would also like to thank the executive board for their hard work in preparing for this conference. Furthermore, our board member Martin Floss received a grant from DCJS, and CJEANYS will be working on a new journal that will soon be available on our website. Thank you for being here, and I look forward to a productive and inspiring conference! Warm Regards,
Katherine Cho, JD President, CJEANYS
